HearHear’s approach

How do we approach our work?

Dealing with a request for an interpretation service is a comprehensive process, and we’re only satisfied when you’re satisfied. That’s why it all begins with a detailed assessment of the request:

  1. The request

The process starts with the request. Submit a request by telephone or through our website if you’re looking for good-quality interpretation services and professional service.

  1. Telephone consultation and checklist

As soon as we have received your request, we will contact you by telephone. During the phone call we will discuss the following points:

  1. the type of interpretation service
  2. the language combination
  3. the location
  4. the assignment’s starting date and time
  5. the duration of the assignment
  6. the subject and the specialism
  7. the setting of the assignment
  8. theinterpreting equipment needed

Once we have a clear picture of the request, we’ll move on to step 3.

  1. Quote

We have the details, and we can now get started with a tailor-made quote. You will receive the offer within the agreed-upon time, usually within a few hours.

  1. Process

Once you’ve agreed to the quote, we’ll get down to work. We will book the most suitable interpreter or interpreters for the assignment, based on the information gathered in steps 1 and 2. We will then send the interpreters the information they need, including the materials needed for preparation. If any questions crop up in the meantime, we will submit them to you. This way everything is clear before the interpretation service starts.

Interpretation services can also be arranged abroad. If that’s the case, we will make the travel and lodging arrangements for the interpreters. Is interpreting equipment needed on site? We will book the materials, have them ready to use, and provide technicians with the necessary instructions.

The day of the assignment has arrived. We’ve made all the arrangements, and the interpreters have arrived on time. The job can begin!

  1. Interim evaluation

We would like to hear what you think about the service up to this point. We’ll ask you for feedback regarding the agreements made, and we’ll ask questions about your opinion and experiences. You contribute to our quality by answering these questions; this is of essential importance to us.

  1. Completion of the job and after-sales service

It goes without saying we would like to hear your impression of our full service once the job has been completed. Are you satisfied or do you have any comments? Was the interpreter what you expected or did you gain new insights? We’re open to receiving all kinds of feedback so we can always provide the best service!
